McMinnville resident and Warren County native Wilma Greene Pistole, age 77, was born April 1, 1929 and died January 10, 2007 at her residence following an extended illness. A homemaker and a member of the Central Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late George Clifford and Rachel Neal Greene. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Alton and Ken Greene. She was married July 21, 1947 to Marion Lavoy Pistole of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Cheri and Dan Kimbrough of Wiesbaden, Germany, Pam and Chris Young of Mitchell, GA and Donna and Rick Smith of Murfreesboro, TN; two sons, David Pistole of McMinnville and Roger Pistole of Nashville; three grandchildren, Blaine and Byron Kimbrough and Ryan Sindt; three great-grandchildren, Grace, Preston and Samuel; five sisters, Hannah Davis, Melba Griffith, Joyce Pirtle, Linda Davenport and Kaye Worzek all of McMinnville; three brothers, John, G.B. and Fred Greene all of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2007 at Central Church of Christ with Kirk Brothers and Tim Parrish officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
