Charles Lawrence Larry REEVES

Mt. Juliet, TN resident and Shelby County, TN native Charles Lawrence "Larry" Reeves, age 70, was born February 5, 1937 and died November 30, 2007 at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, TN following a sudden illness. A trucking dispatcher with Dyersburg-Spartan Trucking and a United States Army veteran of Vietnam, he was the son of the late Perrin and Dorothy Mae O'Connell Reeves. He was married to Joyce Elaine Dunlap Reeves who preceded him in death April 4, 1989. He is survived by one daughter, Jacqueline Cloughtery of Mt. Juliet, TN and two grandchildren, Rachel Bloom of Mt. Juliet, TN and Jason Rodgers of Crossville, TN. A graveside service and interment was held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Pine Bluff Cemetery with full military honors administered by the VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173.
