Herbert Levoy Sonny ROBERTS

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Herbert Levoy "Sonny" Roberts, age 68, was born December 1, 1938 and died August 4, 2007 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following an extended illness. A service station owner/operator and a member of the Mt. Leo Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Herbert and Gracie Pearl O'Neal Roberts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James Norman Roberts and Gary Lynn Roberts, Sr. He was married June 2, 1973 to Queita G. Warren Roberts of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children and their spouses, Sharon Kelley and LeAnn and Gene Desmarais both of McMinnville and Mark and Heather Anderson of Lexington, KY; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brother and sister-in-law, Kenny and Pat Roberts of McMinnville; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Wanda and Kenneth Keaton, Myra Lou and Leslie Lytle, Beverly and Edward Keith and Carolyn and Bobby Frazier all of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2007 in High's Chapel with Lane Dix and David Costello officiating. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory.
