Betty Sue Powers ROWLAND

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Betty Sue Rowland, age 76, was born July 19, 1931 and died July 29, 2007 at her residence following a sudden illness. A retired seamstress with Findlay Industries and a member of the Cumberland Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Clara Mai Driver Powers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Eddy Powers. She is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Molly and Cecil Minton of McMinnville and Mary and Carl Davis of Murfreesboro, TN; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl and Carmon Powers of the Rocky River Community, Lloyd and Stella Powers of Spencer, TN and Joe David and Evolyn Powers of McMinnville; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2007 in High's Chapel with Ernie Weber officiating. Burial followed in the White Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN.
