Betty Ilene RUTLEDGE

Rock Island, TN resident and Abbyville, SC native Betty Ilene Rutledge, age 58, was born January 21, 1949 and died March 18, 2007 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. An employee of Levi-Strauss and a member of Friendship The Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Inez Ross Alverson. She was married to Ben Edward Rutledge who preceded her in death. She is survived by three sons, Keith, Kenneth and Kurt Rutledge all of Campaign, TN; six grandchildren; three brothers, James Alverson of Florida and Wayne and Danny Alverson both of Columbia, SC and two sisters, Sandra Goldstein of Columbia, SC and Debbie Barrow of Campaign, TN. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2007 in High's Chapel with Steve Breedlove officiating. Burial followed in the Campaign Cemetery.
