Larry Joe SANDERS

Smartt, TN resident and Orlando, FL native Larry Joe Sanders, age 52, was born January 19, 1955 and died August 9, 2007 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN following an extended illness. A former Carrier employee and a member of the Friendship The Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Cleveland Sherfield and Emogene Vaughn Sanders. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Couch and Wanda Sanders McCormick. He was married to Nancy Turner Sanders of Smartt, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Crystal and Timothy Medley and Jennifer Marie and Jeffery Martin both of McMinnville; three sisters and brother-in-law, Patricia Sanders of Smartt Station, TN, Janice Breedlove of Rock Island, TN and Linda and Wayne Gann of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 12, 2007 in High's Chapel with Steve Breedlove officiating.
