Osbon Franklin SAVAGE

McMinnville resident and Grundy County, TN native Osbon Franklin Savage, age 86, was born November 7, 1920 and died August 25, 2007 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A nurseryman, a United States Army veteran of WWII and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Ambrose and Mary Gross Savage. He was married to Willie Mae Nunley Savage of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Anne Savage of McMinnville; grandson, Steven Franklin Savage of Atlanta, GA and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service and interment was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 27, 2007 at Philadelphia Cemetery in Grundy County, TN with Glyn Killian officiating.
