Mollie C. SIMMONS

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Mollie C. Simmons, age 92, was born December 18, 1914 and died April 11, 2007 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following an extended illness. A homemaker and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, she was the daughter of the late Lawson and Sarah Jones Hillis. She was married October 5, 1940 to Willie B. Simmons who preceded her in death July 5, 1978. She was a long-time resident of Mentor, OH. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Willie Edward and Leona Simmons of Willoughby, OH and Ronald Eugene and Sharon Simmons of Painesville, OH; grandchildren, Marchelle Epperson, Jennifer Law, Eddie and Sarah Simmons and Monica Woods; six great-grandchildren and cousin, Lola Griffith of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 12, 2007 in High's Chapel with Randy Walp officiating. Burial followed in the Crain Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN.
