Cory Alan SMITH

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Cory Alan Smith, age 29, was born December 5, 1977 and died January 5, 2007 at St. Thomas Hospital following a sudden illness. A tool and die machinist at Calsonic Yorozu and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son Terry and Twana Durham Smith. He was married September 8, 2001 to Lisa Roberts Smith of McMinnville. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by one son, Taylor Alan Smith of McMinnville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Matthew Ryan and Rixceny Smith of Murfreesboro, TN and Travis Kent and Paula Smith of McMinnville; maternal grandmother, "Tiny" Durham of McMinnville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Billy and Shiney Roberts of McMinnville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Amanda and Mike Davis of Brentwood, TN; nieces and nephews, Maggie, Colby, Lindsey, Tylan and Parker Smith and Lucas and Jacob Davis; grandfather-in-law, Frank Roberts of McMinnville and several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at Central Church of Christ with Coy Hathcock, Jackie Matheny and Keaton Kell officiating. Burial followed in the Smyrna Cemetery.
