Andrew Arlie SOUTHARD

McMinnville resident and Rutherford Co., TN native Andrew Arlie Southard, age 24, was born April 21, 1983 and died July 21, 2007 at River Park Hospital following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. An employee of Southard Lawn Care and Landscaping and a member of the Arlington Church of Christ, he was the son of Ron and Eileen Powell Southard of McMinnville. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Edward "Red" Powell; paternal grandparents, Freeland and Mary Frances Southard and uncles, Garry and Jack Southard. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Jaime Southard of McMinnville; maternal grandmother, Cornelia "Tooter" Powell of McMinnville; uncles and aunts, Ronald and Diana Powell, Gerane and Lou Benkarski, Kathy and Rudie Thomsen, Carolyn Preslar, and Pam and Leslie Mitchell all of McMinnville and Wayne Southard and Debbie and Todd Calvert both of Ohio. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2007 at Smyrna Church of Christ with Wayne Cantrell officiating. Burial followed in the Smyrna Cemetery.
