Steven W. STANLEY

Oak Grove Community resident and Dekalb County, TN native Steven W. Stanley, age 35, was born April 12, 1972 and died suddenly May 22, 2007 at Stones River Hospital in Woodbury, TN. A truck driver and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of Steve and Lucy Warren Stanley of the Oak Grove Community. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jake Warren. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Brandon Tyler Stanley Elkins of McMinnville; daughter, Alyssa Lensing of Evansville, IN; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lori and Manuel Ramirez and Jamie and Arturo Ramirez both of the Oak Grove Community; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Tammy Stanley of Smithville, TN; paternal grandparents, James and Dean Stanley of the Oak Grove Community; maternal grandmother, Hester Warren of the Short Mountain Community; nephews, Bradley Campbell and Emilio, Diego and Jullian Ramirez; nieces, Seirra Johnson and Tanisha, Juliana, Adriana and Alejandra Ramirez and three aunts and six uncles. Funeral service was held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2007 in High's Chapel with Dan Gulley officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Stanley family.
