Landon Keith THOMISON

Rocky River Community resident and Van Buren County, TN native Landon Keith Thomison, age 67, was born August 24, 1939 and died March 22, 2007 at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN following an extended illness. A supervisor at Chattem Chemical and Drugs, a veteran of the Tennessee National Guard and a member of the White Hill Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Floyd and Maggie Hillis Thomison. He was married January 16, 1960 to Maudie Marie Madewell of the Rocky River Community. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Crystal Johnson of the Rocky River Community; son and daughter-in-law, Kelvin and Alysia Powers of Rock Island, TN; three grandchildren, Rhiannon, Kaden and Madelyn Powers all of Rock Island, TN; sister, Georgia Roberts of McMinnville and brother and sister-in-law, Doran and Jewell Thomison of the Rocky River Community. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2007 in High's Chapel with Kenneth Mansell officiating. Burial followed in the White Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN.
