McMinnville resident and White County, TN native Mamie Lou Tindell, age 87, was born August 14, 1920 and died October 27, 2007 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following an extended illness. A homemaker and a member of the Locust Street Church of God, she was the daughter of the late Walt and Alice Whittaker Weaver. She was married to Vernon Ray Tindell who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Iliff, Clifford, Milus and Claren Weaver; sister, Elene Sliger; son, Charles Wayne Tindell; daughter, Alice Sue Tindell and son-in-law, Clyde Clore. She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Faye and Tony Talbert of McMinnville and Carolyn Clore of Cookeville, TN; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Pat Brady and J.L. and Sondra Brady both of Sparta, TN; four grandsons, Lee Talbert of McMinnville, Billy Carl and Barry Brady both of Sparta, TN and Jimmy Clore of Arizona; two granddaughters and their husbands, Tammy and Chad Hickey of Murfreesboro, TN and Robin and James Pedigo of Cookeville, TN; two great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and brother, Dr. Andrew Weaver of Auburn, AL. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2007 in High's Chapel with Roland Sharp officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in White County, TN.
