McMinnville resident and Warren County native Jerry Freeman Tolbert, age 60, was born August 6, 1946 and died May 13, 2007 at his residence following an extended illness. An employee of Walker Motors and a member of the First Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic Faith, he was the son of the late Toy Freeman and Elsie Fay Denton Tolbert. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Freeman Tolbert. He was married December 1, 1990 to Tamela Lynn Anderson Tolbert of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Houston Shane Anderson of McMinnville; daughter, Casey Lynn Tolbert of McMinnville; brother and sister-in-law, Larry Brown and Linda Talbert of McMinnville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Judith and Hugh Melton, Bobbie and Sammy Brady, Debbie Evans and Becky Griffith all of McMinnville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Helen Anderson of McMinnville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Tina and Ross Smartt of McMinnville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joey and Shannon Anderson and Chuck and Mary Ann Anderson both of McMinnville; aunt, Lorene Robbins of McMinnville and uncle Jim Denton of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at the First Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic Faith with Billy Nunley and Jason Nunley officiating. Burial followed in the Morrison Cemetery.
