Lettie Jane Aunt Gee TUCKER

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Lettie Jane "Aunt Gee" Tucker, age 81, was born October 5, 1925 and died June 14, 2007 at River Park Hospital following a three-month illness. A retired seamstress at General Motors and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Oliver E. and Fluellar Russell Hillis. She was married to George Curtis Tucker who preceded her in death July 6, 1983. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Lila Jane Hale and four brothers, Ellie Leroy Hillis, Wilmyth Berel Hillis, Morgan Hillis and Flin Hillis. She is survived by one sister, Mary Ruth Hillis Carr of McMinnville; nieces and nephews and their spouses, Bobby and Pat Carr of AL, Margaret and Jim Self, Gene and Bea Carr of South Dakota, Frank and Margaret Carr of McMinnville, Larry and Melissa Carr of Texas, Charlene Carr of McMinnville and Darlene and Larry Vance of McMinnville; good friends, Beatrice Prater and Vanetta Neely both of McMinnville; eleven great-nieces and nephews and four great-great-nieces and nephews. A graveside service and interment was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2007 at Corinth Cemetery in DeKalb County, TN.
