Ola Mae VAUGHN

Rock Island, TN resident and Warren County native Ola Mae Vaughn, age 76, was born October 12, 1931 and died November 9, 2007 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A cook and a member of Friendship The Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Worth Dennie and Nora Lee Masters Jones. She was married to James Estel Vaughn who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, James Dennie Vaughn. She is survived by nine children, Estel Lee Vaughn of Smyrna, TN, Ola Ann Vaughn, Brenda Kay Fann and Betty Jean Saldivar all of Rock Island, TN and Norma Louise Hill, Joyce Mai Allen, Kenneth Ray Vaughn, John Hershel Vaughn and Eddie Dean Vaughn all of McMinnville; brother, Willie Lee Jones of McMinnville; two sisters, Betty Griffin and Marie Jenkins both of Dayton, OH; very special grandson, Elliote Jason Denovo and many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2007 in High's Chapel with Steve Breedlove officiating. Burial followed in the Preston Heights Cemetery in Quebeck, TN.
