Brenda Joyce Ruegge WANAMAKER

McMinnville resident and Los Angeles County, CA native Brenda Joyce Ruegge Wanamaker, age 66, was born February 17, 1940 and died February 3, 2007 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A shipping clerk and a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Carl H. and Kathleen Tate Ruegge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Denise Wanamaker Underhill; grandson, Stephen Blake Hunter and two brothers, William G. and Richard D. Ruegge. She was married January 27, 1955 to Bill T. Wanamaker of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Karla Wanamaker of McMinnville; two daughters and son-in-law, Deborah and Danny Johnson of McMinnville and Gina George of McMinnville; nine grandchildren, Kelly (Erica) Johnson, Travis (Jennifer) Johnson, Justin Wanamaker, Jacob George, Bobby Cantrell, Sheena Johnson, Karly Wanamaker, Chelsi George and Katelyn Underhill; six great-granddaughters, Brittani, Brooklyn, Halee, Rhealee, Rhylan, and McKenna and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2007 in High's Chapel with Jackie Matheny, Darrel Cantrell and Kevin Murphy officiating. Burial followed in the Philadelphia Cemetery in Grundy County, TN.
