Ruth Floyd WATSON

McMinnville resident and Rutherford County, TN native Ruth Floyd Watson, age 93, was born June 10, 1913 and died February 27, 2007 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following an extended illness. A homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Wilmot A. and Rhoda Zumbro Floyd. She was married to Thomas J. Watson who preceded her in death July 25, 1993. She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Thomas C. and Judy Watson of Chattanooga, TN and Jerry B. Watson of McMinnville; grandson, Mark L. Watson of Robertsdale, AL; granddaughter, Susan E. Watson of Old Hickory, TN and two great-grandchildren, Tiffany and Marissa Watson of Robertsdale, AL. A graveside service and interment was held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2007 at Bascom Cemetery with Bob Case officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Thursday at High's. Memorial donations may be made to the .
