Hugh Maxwell WISEMAN

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Hugh Maxwell Wiseman, age 84, was born October 11, 1922 and died September 6, 2007 at Alvin C. York V.A. Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN following an extended illness. A retired employee of Ford Motor Company, a United States Army veteran of WWII and a member of the Mt. Leo Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Martin T. and Mary Edna Maxwell Wiseman. He was married to Margie Muncey Wiseman who preceded him in death April 30, 1999. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Diana Johnson and sister, Wilma Pepper. He is survived by one daughter, Jeanie Johnson of Kincheloe, MI; grandson, Jon Johnson; three sisters, Irene Wilson of the Centertown Community and Kathleen Killian and Joetta Peppers both of McMinnville; brother, Gerald Wiseman of the Centertown Community and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 10, 2007 in High's Chapel with Lane Dix officiating. Burial followed in the Hebron Cemetery with full military honors administered by the VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173.
