Michael David WOMACK

Smithville, TN resident and Detroit, MI native Michael David Womack, age 60, was born October 6, 1946 and died May 21, 2007 at his residence. The retired owner of C&W Armature, he was the son of the late Charles Ray and Gene von Bloomberg Womack. He was a letterman in football at Middle Tennessee State University. He was married first to Barbara Hayes Womack who preceded him in death in 1998. He was married second to Lisa Carter Womack of Smithville, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Georgia Gene Womack of Winter Park, FL; sister and brother-in-law, Patti and Tom Clarke of McMinnville; niece, Rae Clark of Chattanooga, TN; nephew and his wife, Charlie and Megan Clarke of Murfreesboro, TN; mother-in-law, Georgia Hayes of Rock Island, TN and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Nadene Carter of Temperance Hall, TN. A memorial service was held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at Sligo Boat Dock on Center Hill Lake in Smithville, TN. Memorial contributions may be made to the Barbara Womack Memorial Scholarship Fund at Warren County High School.
