Edna Mayes WOODLEE

August 28, 1915 — November 10, 2007

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Edna Mayes Woodlee, age 92, was born August 28, 1915 and died November 10, 2007 at Raintree Manor Nursing Home following a brief illness. The retired cafeteria manager at Warren County Senior High School and a member of the West Riverside Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Mary Pearson Mayes. She was married to Robert Maloney Woodlee who preceded her in death September 27, 1996. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, George Mayes and four sisters, Lucille Blankenship, Carrie Blanks, Frances Bell and Charlene Smith. She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Marie and Earl Blair of Smithville, TN and Gail Woodlee of McMinnville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Howard and Joice Mayes and J.W. "Willie" and Bobbie Mayes both of McMinnville; sister, Betty Walker of McMinnville; several nieces and nephews and two brothers-in-law, Jesse J. Woodlee of Muncie, IN and Jewel Woodlee of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2007 in High's Chapel with Vernon Joines and Tim Woodward officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to or the .
