McMinnville resident and Bluefield, WV native Ralph Franklin Woodlee, Sr, age 76, was born October 9, 1930 and died September 15, 2007 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. A retired Senior Sales Representative with Seamens Corporation and a member of the Westwood Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Franklin Christopher and Iva Lee Sproles Woodlee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Kimberly Woodlee Gangi and one grandson, Bailey Alexander Brooks. He was married in August of 1983 to Polly Woodlee of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by eight children and their spouses, Timothy Woodlee of West Palm Beach, FL, Christopher and Jana Woodlee of Huntsville, AL, Jennifer and Duane Brooks of McMinnville, Frank Woodlee of McMinnville, Blake and Krystal Woodlee of Murfreesboro, TN and Kathy and Ron Neale, Susan and Joey Criddle and Sandra Akers all of McMinnville; nine grandchildren, Mallory, Jacob, Noah and Sullivan Woodlee, Caroline and Claire Brooks, Renee Stovall, and John and Chris Neale and three brothers and sisters-in-law, Gene and Joni Woodlee of Florence, NJ, Gordon and Charlene Woodlee of McMinnville and Jerry and Kathy Woodlee of Kosiusko, MS. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2007 in High's Chapel with Coy Hathcock officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
