Reid WOODLEE

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Reid Woodlee, age 74, was born July 21, 1933 and died December 16, 2007 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. A self-employed nurseryman and a member of the First Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Wallace Clinton and Omah Mae McCorkle Woodlee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Patrick Parks and sister, Emogene Norton. He was married in July of 1973 to Marcelene Mathis Woodlee of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Susan Lynn Woodlee Johnson of Oklahoma City, OK, Cynthia L. Woodlee Huth of Chattanooga, TN and Clinton Reid "Dusty" Woodlee of Orlando, FL and one granddaughter, Heather Jade Parks of St. Augustine, FL. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2007 in High's Chapel with Bill Martin and Larry Stanley officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Renovation Fund.
