McMinnville resident and Davidson County, TN native Michael Howel Worzek, age 62, was born September 11, 1945 and died October 4, 2007 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. He was a retired salesperson and a member of Christ Family Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Vida Mitchell Moore; grandparents, James Arthur and Nancy Mitchell; brothers-in-law, Alton and Kenny Greene and sister-in-law, Wilma Pistole. He was married December 16, 1965 to Kaye Greene Worzek of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Amy Black and Nicole Worzek both of McMinnville; two grandsons, Benjamin Michael Black and Elijah Mitchell Black both of McMinnville; father, O.T. Moore of New Smyrna Beach, FL; brother and sister-in-law, Pat and Carla Moore of Pierson, FL; sister, Alice Williams of New Smyrna Beach, FL; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Louise Green, Marion Pistole, Hannah and Rayford Davis, Johnny and Daphne Greene, Joyce Pirtle, Melba and Jimmy Griffith, G.B. and Suzi Greene, Fred and Fay Green and Jerry and Linda Davenport all of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 7, 2007 at the Central Church of Christ. Burial followed in the Salem Cemetery.
