Helen Garner ALLISON

McMinnville resident and Tracy City, TN native Helen Garner Allison, age 84, was born December 23, 1923 and died November 11, 2008 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of the Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Estelle Overturf Garner. She was married to William Burgess Allison who preceded her in death January 7, 2003. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, William Kenneth Jones, Jr.; two brothers, Oscar and Homer Garner and sister, Estelle O'Brien. A graveside service and interment was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 13, 2008 at Cookeville Cemetery in Cookeville, TN with Dr. Steve Angus officiating.
