Ann Mae McDowell ANDERSON

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Ann Mae McDowell Anderson, age 89, was born April 26, 1919 and died August 23, 2008 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A retired employee of Genesco and member of the East End Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Honas and Bertha Ellen Buff Stevens. She was married to Cecil McDowell and Sam E. Anderson both of whom preceded her in death. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Ann McDowell in 1953. She is survived by one son, J.C. McDowell of McMinnville; daughter and son-in-law, Janette Sue and Gerald McBride of Williamsburg, IN; two grandchildren, Leigh Emerson McBride and Cecilia Ann Norman both of Indiana and five great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2008 in High's Chapel with Carson Rust officiating. Burial followed in the Salem Cemetery.
