Elsie Lou Ada BARKS

Doyle. TN resident and White County, TN native Elsie Lou Ada Barks, age 75, was born July 9, 1932 and died February 11, 2008 at White County Community Hospital in Sparta, TN following a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Matthew Mae and Cora Bell Clemons Barks. She is survived by three brothers and sisters-in-law, Merle and Betty Barks and Charlie Ray and Linda Barks both of Rock Island, TN and Hubert Barks; sister, Sally Thomas of Woodbury, TN; several nieces and nephews and special friends at Pacesetters of White County, TN. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2008 in High's Chapel with Buck Martin officiating. Burial followed in the Morrison Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
