III, Carl D. BARNES

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Carl D. Barnes, III was born November 17, 1963 and died January 17, 2008 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN following a brief illness. An employee of Patton Welding and a member of the Bonner Church of Christ, he was the son of the late C.D. and Lucille Vera Tenpenny Barnes, Jr. He was married December 9, 1988 to Wanda Patton Barnes of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Harry Lee and Janet Barnes of Morrison, TN and Jimmy and Paula Barnes of McMinnville; two sisters and brother-in-law, Joyce Barnes of Morrison, TN and Vickie and Mike Bouldin of the Vervilla Community; mother-in-law, Bettye Patton of McMinnville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sonja and Edd Walker of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2008 in High's Chapel with Tim Long officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
