David Sumner Doodle BOYD

McMinnville resident and Edgartown, MA native David Sumner "Doodle" Boyd, age 59, was born May 12, 1949 and died August 2, 2008 at his residence following an extended illness. A carpenter with Lawson Mill Construction, he was the son of the late Clifford and Olga Jordan Boyd. He was married November 25, 1993 to Patricia McKeown Boyd of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Sarah Boyd Medley and husband William and Scarlet Boyd and loving partner, Mr. Kelly Stewart; two grandsons, Alden and Avery; step-grandson, Trevor Medley; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Joyce Boyd of Martha's Vineyard, MA; niece, Carla; nephews, Chris and Aaron; aunt and uncle, Kurt and Sissy Boyd of Martha's Vineyard, MA; other children, Mathew, Kayleigh and Austin of Florida and grandson, Jackson Hodges of McMinnville. A private service was held. Memorial contributions may be made to the Boyd family.
