Edward Leon Billy BOYD

Sunbright, TN resident (formerly of McMinnville) and Warren County native Edward Leon "Billy" Boyd, age 76, was born October 23, 1931 and died February 26, 2008 at Roan Medical Center in Harriman, TN following an extended illness. A forty-seven year employee of Burroughs-Ross-Colville and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Dermis Richard and Evelyn Mae Boyd. He was married to Phyllis Ann Kirchbaum who preceded him in death in 1992. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one son, David Vaughn; brothers, Clifton, Corbin, R.J., Joe and Donald Boyd and sister, Ollie Sanford. He is survived by six children and their spouses, Joseph Vaughn and Roger and Darlene Vaughn both of McMinnville, Donnie and Margaret Vaughn of Sunbright, TN, Lonnie and Diane Vaughn of Baxter, TN and Drucilla Reed and Sharon Johnson both of Indianapolis, IN; thirteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 29, 2008 in High's Chapel. Burial followed in the Center Hill Cemetery @ Hills Creek.
