Brenda S. BRITT

McMinnville resident and Bledsoe County, TN native Brenda S. Britt, age 58, was born May 15, 1950 and died November 9, 2008 at Alive Hospice at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. A factory worker and member of New Hope Full Gospel Church, she was the daughter of the late J.L. and Verena Mae Bickford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Faye Goff and brother, Thomas Lee Bickford. She is survived by one son, Patrick D. Britt of Nashville, TN; "#2 son", Richard Lancaster of Nashville, TN; sister, Helen Ladd of McMinnville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James & Rose Bickford of Sterling Heights, MI and John and Ann Bickford of Cookeville, TN; niece, Jewellene England and husband, Ray of Spencer, TN; special friend, Betty Talbert; several nieces, nephews and former husband, Robert Britt. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 13, 2008 in High's Chapel with Terry Grissom officiating. Burial followed in the Walling Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN.
