Jerri Lynn BURCH

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Jerri Lynn Burch, age 50 was born February 3, 1958 and died September 20, 2008 at her residence following a six-year illness. A scuba instructor at Middle Tennessee State University and member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of Jerry "Buddy" and Doris Dunlap of McMinnville. She was married August 11, 1979 to Dwight Burch of McMinnville. She was an avid cross stitcher, reader and fisherman. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, George E. and Margie Breedlove; paternal grandfather, Elbert Wilson Dunlap and father-in-law, Johnny Burch. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Stephanie Dunlap of McMinnville; sister, Suzy Dunlap of McMinnville; paternal grandmother, Mary Ruth Dunlap of McMinnville; nieces and nephews, Kelly Rutledge, Ryan Dunlap and Tristan Dunlap all of McMinnville and Terran Dunlap of Germany; great-niece and great-nephew, Rylin and Dicen Dunlap; mother-in-law, Betty Burch of McMinnville and special friend, Savannah. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 22, 2008 with Steve Breedlove officiating. Burial followed in the New Bybee Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Warren County Relay For Life.
