Bertie Christine CAMPBELL

McMinnville resident and DeKalb County, TN native Bertie Christine Campbell, age 84, was born February 12, 1924 and died July 30, 2008 at her residence. A homemaker and member of West Riverside Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late John R. and Della E. Barrett Jaco. She was married to Alexander Campbell who preceded her in death May 6, 1973. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Marlene Green and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by four children and their spouses, Patricia and Clarence Curtis, Kay and Gary Whiteaker, Gary Campbell and Trent and Teresa Campbell all of McMinnville; thirteen grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren and son-in-law, Aubrey Green of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 2, 2008 in High's Chapel with Vernon Joines officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
