Ethel Boren Greene CANTRELL

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Ethel Boren Greene Cantrell, age 79, was born February 13, 1929 and died August 9, 2008 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following an extended illness. A cook with the Warren Count School System, owner/operator of Green Hill Market and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late William Bevely and Katie Myrtle Schrock Boren. She was married to Earl Ray Greene and Charles Hugh Cantrell both of whom preceded her in death. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Boyd, Lloyd, Oscar and Wilton Boren. She is survived by seven children and their spouses, Wanda Faye and Carl Hillis and Brenda Kaye and Clinton Gribble, Jr. both of the Dibrell Community, Shirley Ray and Roger Hawks of Bell Buckle, TN, Vickie Earlene Frizzell, Tammy Sue and Grady Bouldin and Perry Gene and Rita Greene all of McMinnville and Paula Michelle and Bruce Turner of Smithville, TN; sixteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three brothers and sisters-in-law, Embert Ray and Mary Boren of California, Robie and Illa Vae Boren of McMinnville and Floyd and Rachel Boren of Rock Island, TN. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2008 in High's Chapel with Richard Bowman officiating. Burial followed in the Webb Cemetery @ Bluff Springs.
