James Wilburn CHISAM

McMinnville resident and Warren County native James Wilburn Chisam, age 78, was born June 28, 1929 and died June 2, 2008 at his residence. A retired employee of the McMinnville Water Department and member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late James and Mollie Rankhorn Chisam. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie Bryan and Billy Gene Chisam. He was married June 18, 1959 to Lucille Berg Chisam of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by six children and their spouses, James and Loretta Chisam and Susan and Eddie McCormick both of Spencer, TN, David and Michelle Chisam, Kathy and Ricky Priest and Beth and Kevin Woodlee all of McMinnville and Joyce and Doug Keener of Morrison, TN; thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Chisam of McMinnville and three half-brothers, Charles Chisam, John Chisam and Roosevelt Chisam all of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2008 in High's Chapel. Burial followed in the Old Bybee Cemetery.
