Jessie Lee CRABTREE

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Jessie Lee Crabtree, age 95, was born June 22, 1912 and died April 22, 2008 at River Park Hospital following a brief illness. A retired school teacher and a member of the Clark United Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Carthew and Mary Martin Hunter. She was married to Charles Morgan Crabtree, Sr. who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother. She is survived by one son, Charles M. Crabtree, Jr. of McMinnville; daughter, Carolyn Borum of McMinnville; grandchildren, and their spouses, Robyn Crabtree of Smyrna, TN, Nedra and Dewayne Carr of McMinnville, Andrea and Shawn Hicks of Christiana, TN and Megan Stallworth of Plano, TX; great-grandchildren, Ashley Evans, Paige Evans and Landis Crabtree; great-great-grandson, Noah Crabtree; sister, Alma Willmore of Elyria, OH; nieces, Vera Childs, Vivian Gilliam and Marlene Sanders all of Nashville, TN and Marva Reed of Alcoa, TN; nephew, Stanley Sims of Nashville, TN and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Clark United Methodist Church with Rev. Shirley Rayford officiating. Burial followed in the Riverside Cemetery.
