Ruby Bell Blankenship CROUCH

Rock Island, TN (Belk Community) resident and Warren County native Ruby Bell Blankenship Crouch, age 83, was born July 27, 1924 and died February 25, 2008 at DeKalb Community Hospital following a brief illness. A homemaker and a member of the Corinth Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Martha Cantrell Blankenship. She was married to Winford Price Crouch who preceded her in death November 15, 1994. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one great-grandson, Trace Underhill; sisters, Octie Walker, Eunice Boren, Bessie Mason, Cleo Hutchins and Nora Blankenship and brother, J.G. Blankenship. She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Pat Crouch and Wayne Crouch both of Rock Island, TN; three grandchildren and their spouses, Tina and Kim Milligan and Alan and Sasha Crouch both of McMinnville and Julie and Ken Underhill of Smithville, TN; six great-grandchildren, Andrew and Alyssa Milligan and Samari and Dennis Crouch all of McMinnville and Zack and Tyler Underhill of Smithville, TN; several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2008 in High's Chapel with Rickey Burks and Nestor Stewart officiating. Burial followed in the Corinth Cemetery.
