Mabel Irene Hennessee CURTIS

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Mabel Irene Hennessee Curtis, age 78, was born November 24, 1929 and died February 7, 2008 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. An educator at Irving College School and a member of the Smyrna Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late John Louy and Minnie Ola McGee Hennessee, Sr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Northcutt and brother, J.L. Hennessee, Jr. She was married December 1, 1951 to Elvin Curtis of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Sharon Patrick of McMinnville; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Jason and Tabitha Patrick of McMinnville and great-grandsons, Lucus and Kendall Patrick. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2008 in High's Chapel with Tim Long officiating. Burial followed in the Smyrna Cemetery.
