Wilson Ray Bunion DAVIS

Rock Island, TN resident and Warren County native Wilson Ray "Bunion" Davis, age 70, was born August 27, 1938 and died September 27, 2008 at his residence following a short illness. A retired employee of the Tennessee Department of Transportation and member of Friendship The Baptist Church, he was the son of Lola Mae Davis of Rock Island, TN and the late Zollie Ray Davis. He was married April 25, 1970 to Wanda Patrick Davis of Rock Island, TN. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by five children and their spouses, Becky and Randall Stewart, Tiereah Davis, Timmy and Donna Davis, Kevin Davis and Kurt Rutledge all of Rock Island, TN; grandchildren, Dakota Gilmore, Dalton Stewart, Shayla and Rickie McCormick and Jessica and Morgan Rutledge all of Rock Island, TN, Taylor Davis of McMinnville and Dena Davis of White County, TN; five great-grandchildren, Charity Davis of Rock Island, TN and Starla Davis, Junior Baker, Joseph Baker and Nathaniel Garza all of White County, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Treva and Ronnie Holland of McMinnville; two brothers, Wayne Davis and Wade Davis both of Rock Island, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2008 in High's Chapel with Steve Breedlove and Roy Terry officiating. Burial followed in the Friendship Cemetery.
