Mary Ruth DISHMAN

Williamston, SC resident and Van Buren County, TN native Mary Ruth Dishman, age 70, was born October 30, 1937 and died September 11, 2008 at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, SC following a sudden illness. A homemaker and member of Friendship Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Arzie James and Mary Frances Haynie Simmons. She was married to Bobby Dishman who preceded her in death February 11, 1999. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Donald Hillis of McMinnville and Janice and Sandy Kelly of Georgia; six sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Earlene Dishman, Anthony and Maggie Dishman, Nathan Dishman and Johnny and Annette Dodson all of McMinnville, Mark and Carolyn Dishman of Algood, TN and Edward and April Rigsby of Georgia; twenty-six grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren and two brothers, James and Tommy Simmons both of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 14, 2008 in High's Chapel with Steve Breedlove officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery
