Gary Ray DYKES

Harrison, TN resident and Warren County native Gary Ray Dykes, age 49, was born September 15, 1959 and died December 23, 2008 at his residence following an eight-year battle. An employee of FLR Hosiery, he was the son of Harold Dykes of McMinnville and Frances Fults of McMinnville. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Otis and Josie Dykes. He was married to Karen Dykes of Harrison, TN. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his step-mother, Hassielee Dykes of McMinnville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Randal and Jamie Ellison of Harrison, TN and Danny and Michelle Ellison of Chattanooga, TN; three grandchildren and brother, Robert Tate of McMinnville. He is survived by many other family members that will miss him greatly. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2008 in High's Chapel with Billy Campbell officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
