George Edsel EVERHARDT

April 30, 1925 — October 4, 2008

Morrison, TN resident and Johnson City, IL native George Edsel Everhardt, age 83, was born April 30, 1925 and died October 4, 2008 at his residence following a three-month illness. A c.b. antenna manufacturer, a United States Army veteran of WWII and member of Fountain Grove Methodist Church, he was the son of the late Fred and Ada Odle Everhardt. He was married August 7, 1946 to Marvyl "Queenie" Sark Everhardt of Morrison, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Jim Flora of Crown Point, IN and Peggy and Bill Costello of Satsuma, FL; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Hutfilz of Hobart, IN and special nieces and nephews, Ray and Sharon Hickenbottom, James and Kay Holt and Cathy and Jr. Cagle all of Morrison, TN. There are no services planned at this time.
