Kurt FURBOCK

McMinnville resident and Kianbirg, Traisa, Germany native Kurt Furbock, age 68, was born February 27, 1940 and died May 12, 2008 at Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville following an extended illness. A machinist at S&S Screw Macnine Company and member of the Catholic Church, he was the son of the late Josef and Anna Halbelsberger Furbock. He is survived by his wife, Norma Bates of McMinnville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Herbert and Annemarie Furbock and Ewald and Giesela Furbock both of Germany; nieces, Ursula and husband Hanst Eckerh and Sabine Furbock both of Germany and great-nieces, Alexandra, Carolyna and Isabelle. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2008 in High's Chapel with Dustin Drake and Fred Dodson officiating. Burial followed in the Smyrna Cemetery.
