JR., Robert Alan GRAY

McMinnville resident and Allegan, MI native Robert Alan Gray, Jr., age 78, was born November 28, 1929 and died July 3, 2008 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and was the son of the late Robert Alan and Dorothy Fitchthorn Gray, Sr. Mr. Gray was a graduate of Gorge Washington and Columbia Universities and worked for the Department of Defense as a superintendent, building schools for children of active duty service personnel, affording he and his beloved wife of forty-five years the opportunity to travel the world. He was a proud member of the American Legion, having served his country in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Rae Gray of McMinnville and sister, Dorothy of Michigan. There are no services planned at this time.
