Aubrey Warren Jim GREENE

McMinnville resident and Bedford County, TN native Aubrey Warren "Jim" Greene, age 71, was born July 14, 1936 and died January 31, 2008 at his residence following an extended illness. A retired machinist at Oster a United States Navy Veteran and a member of the Clark United Methodist Church, he was the son of the late Clayton and Alice Nelson Greene. He was married to Barbara Evans Greene who preceded him in death in 1990. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Julia Evans of McMinnville; four grandchildren, Ashley Evans, Paige Evans, Sharanda Pleasant and Alec Pleasant; great-grandson, Julius Robertson; brother and sister-in-law, James and Lurla Greene of Wartrace, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Morris Cooper of Shelbyville, TN; a host of nieces and nephews; special friend, Willie Cameron; brother-in-law, James Evans and his wife, Loretta of McMinnville and sister-in-law, Shirley Martin. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2008 at the Clark Untied Methodist Church with Robert Utley and George King, Jr. officiating. Burial followed in the Bethlehem Cemetery @ Martin Charge with military honors administered by the United States Navy Honor Guard.
