David Russell GRISSOM

Rock Island, TN resident and Alameda, CA native David Russell Grissom, age 52, was born September 8, 1955 and died April 23, 2008 at his residence following an extended illness. A self-employed welder and fabricator and a United States Navy veteran of Vietnam, he was the son of the late William Joel and Jamie Doris Ramsey Grissom. He was an avid outdoorsman, with a love for animals and fishing. He had a vivacious sense of humor that attracted people to him. His love and generosity knew no boundaries. He was a prince among men. He was married September 8, 1990 to Paula Irene Norris of Rock Island, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one sister, Brenna Grissom of Belvidere, TN; brother and sister-in-law, John Michael and Pat Grissom of Murfreesboro, TN and several nieces and nephews.
