Arliss Norman HILLIS

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Arliss Norman Hilis, age 62, was born February 21, 1946 and died September 9, 2008 at Alive Hospice @ St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. A self-employed caterer and member of Shellsford Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Zera and Wavie Bottoms Hillis. He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Laddie and Suzanne Hillis of Nashville, TN and nephew, Bryce Hillis of Nashville, TN. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Shellsford Baptist Church with Donald Owens and David Daugherty officiating. Burial followed in the Shellsford Cemetery.
