Bonnie Lucille HOLLANDSWORTH

Rock Island, TN resident and Warren County native Bonnie Lucille Hollandsworth, age 88, was born March 10, 1920 and died April 26, 2008 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A retired employee of Rockford Textile and a member of the Emmanuel Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late John and Izzie Arnetta Gilley Barnes. She was married to Elmer Lee Hollandsworth who preceded her in death March 16, 2004. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dick and James Thurman "Bud" Barnes. She is survived by seven children and their spouses, Johnnie and Donnie Prater of Tracy City, TN, Frances K. and Waymon Bond of the Centertown Community, Charlotte Cummings Isaacs and Donald Lee Hollandsworth both of Rock Island, TN and Donna and David Brady, John Wayne and Sammye Hollandsworth and Sherry Lockridge Burgin all of McMinnville. twenty-three grandchildren, fifty-two great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; sister, R.E. "Sallie" Bryan of McMinnville and sister-in-law, Stella Barnes of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2008 in High's Chapel. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory.
