Fred Leslie HORTON

McMinnville resident and White County, TN native Fred Leslie Horton, age 81, was born September 16, 1926 and died February 19, 2008 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following a brief illness. A retired custodian with the Warren County School System and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Lee Roy and Mary Lou Haston Horton, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Opal Marie Horton. He is survived by one sister, Eunice Horton of McMinnville and one brother and his friend, Lee Roy Horton, Jr. and Helen of Doylestown, OH. Funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 22, 2008 in High's Chapel with Titus Ward officiating. Burial followed in the Highland Cemetery in Sparta, TN.
