Janet E. Neal JENKINS

Nashville, TN resident and Warren County native Janet E. Neal Jenkins, age 61, died October 1, 2008 in Nashville, TN following a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Carroll Clarke Neal and Elsie Brown Neal Baugus. She was a graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Radiology in 1970 with a certification in x-ray. Upon graduation she worked for Baptist Hospital before establishing her career of thirty-six years with Tennessee Orthopedic Alliance in Nashville, TN. She was married to her husband of thirty-eight years, Glenn Malcom Jenkins of Nashville, TN. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Jana Jenkins of Lebanon, TN; son, Corey Jenkins of Hendersonville, TN; grandchildren, Jayce and Jacob; brother and sister-in-law, Kenny and Elaine Neal of McMinnville; nieces, Michelle Lewis and Nichole Crouch both of McMinnville; nephew, Blake Neal of Nashville, TN and other relatives in Chattanooga, TN. Funeral service was held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 4, 2008 in High's Chapel with Steve Breedlove officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
